then why have Republican majorities on the House and Senate veterans' affairs committees have voted to impose an enrollment fee of at least $230 a year on 2.4 million veterans? And this in addition to the rising cost of co-pays that many Vets have to pay in order to seek medical aid. This admin makes sure it it a very partisan issue.

May I point out that it was soldiers that followed the law that reported the crimes in Abu Graib and elsewhere. May I also point out that the rightwingers are the ones that condemn the soldiers that blew the whistle on the war criminals. The rightwingers don't want any facts to stain their worship of the imperial army, while at the same time they laugh at the Canadian troops that were killed in Afghanistan by a US pilot on speed, and they threaten those GIs that refuse to be a party to war crimes.

Let me tell you what to do.

My son is in the Navy. He's always been "respectful" of the commander in chief no matter who it was, and supported Shrub when he was first elected because he was very upset when they couldn't get the parts to fix things that were broken (budget cuts under Clinton). Well, I haven't been real critical of Shrub when I speak to my son, but I do make certain true statements and let him make his own decisions.

Now, he detests ShrubCo. I don't miss a lick when I find something to blame on Shrub either. He's stationed in Sicily now, and the value of the American Dollar against the Euro is a real problem for any American living in a country that now has the Euro as their currency. I told my son that it was because of Shrubs economic policy!

If you know anyone in the military, I suggest you don't outright slam the Pres., but state some verifiable facts. Your statements can help them change their mind (away from the indoctrination they went through in boot cams), and recognize the truth!
