#10 cause of death in the U.S.: Being gay???
I was just browsing around Wikipedia and came across the top ten causes of death in the U.S. The first nine list a number e.g. #1: heart disease-696,947 and then #10 is "being gay: enough".

Does anybody else think this is wierd? Is it factual? I find it hard to believe.

The stats are not quite halfway down this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mortality

3. Unfortunately Wikipedia has a very weak system in which...
anyone can just visit the site and change it to a way that fits their politics. I think people should have to sign up before they can edit stuff.

6. I dont see it
I have heard this in many extremist anti-gay sites, where they claim that homosexuals have shorter lifespans than heterosexuals. This conflates the issue. It is true that unprotected promiscous homosexual sex is the number one risk factor for HIV in this country, and the 2nd biggest risk factor for hepatitis B. But it doesnt occur to these people that homosexuals can practice safe sex just like any straight couple can.
