respect. You don't just receive it because someone else thinks you should. Herein lies the problem with our Party. Just like I work to earn yours.

3. I don't really need to. Today, I see a lot of talk within the party of not
questioning our leaders. Ex. The Kerry Campaign, for which I worked long and hard and was told that lawn signs didn't matter. Obviously, something went wrong.

I don't deify the newspeople if the story is something I agree with. It cuts down on the anger when I don't agree.

I have lots of friends on DU. But we're all really just people... equals. There is no one DUer who outshines the rest in my opinion. Many people have joined together to make this site what it is.

4. I agree WRT questioning leaders, etc. Obviously we should.
But sometimes people talk about "Don't bash other D's" and it gets interpreted as "Don't criticize other D's." I think they're two different things. Bashing other D's, especially IN PUBLIC, just gives the R's schadenfreude. My new 11th commandment: "Thou shalt not speak ill of another Democrat in public."

2. Bravo!
(And no, I don't expect you to respect me just because I happen to agree with you). :)
