News Advisory:

-- First "Air Arnold" banner plane will fly over the Oscars -- 1:30 to 5:30 p.m.

-- Second "Air Arnold" plane with lighted banner will fly over Oscars and Vanity Fair Party -- 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Pre-Oscars Press Conference: Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005 at 2 p.m. Meet outside CNN studios, 6430 Sunset Blvd. at the intersection of Sunset and Cahuenga Blvd.

Post-Oscars "Vanity Fair Party" Protest: Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005 at 9 p.m. - Midnight

Meet at the NE corner of the intersection of Melrose and Robertson across the street from Morton's restaurant (8764 Melrose Avenue).

"Air Arnold," two banner planes pulling messages for the governor, will send sky-high messages on Oscars night criticizing Schwarzenegger for raising $80,000 a day, twice as much as his predecessor Gray Davis whom Schwarzenegger replaced for being a cash register politician. This week Schwarzenegger announced a new fundraising drive to raise another $50 million dollars.

The first plane will fly over the Oscars at the Kodak Theatre (Hollywood Blvd. at Highland) and the second plane will fly over the post-Oscars party at Morton's restaurant with a lighted banner.

One of the banner messages will read "Governor: Please Stop the Fundraising -- the People." Governor Schwarzenegger recently told the Los Angeles Times: "I have never seen anyone come up to me and say, 'Governor, please stop the fundraising.'" Consumer groups will criticize Schwarzenegger for bad acting in his fundraising practices and call on the governor to cancel his planned special election this November that will largely benefit his big industry contributors.

To read web logs chronicling Schwarzenegger's pandering to his big industry contributors go to http://www.Arnoldwatch.org. Air Arnold is organized by the California Nurses Association and the Foundation for Taxpayer and Consumer Rights (FTCR) which runs ArnoldWatch.org
