The lynch mob mentality of the Repuglican Dominion |
|
Edited on Mon Mar-07-05 09:55 PM by BigBearJohn
Wow, while watching the news today, I had a major realization about Pugs and the simplicity of the psy-ops they employ. Repugs have ONE extremely effective tactic: Create and encourage vile hatred towards Democrats at any expense. Repugs use emotional buttons with every chance they get (homosexuality, terror, danger to your children, survival of family values, the list goes on and on -- making the public so damn mad or disgusted that all they can do is hate or react in fear. Every tactic is fair game. Lie, cheat, cajole, you name it.
Reason is then thrown out the window. If you get someone mad enough or frightened enough, they ignore reason and go with the emotion. Brainwashing, pure and simple. They need to make the public hate or fear. Generate ENOUGH hate, and they will totally ignore all reason... yep... just like a lynch mob. Then they try to convince you that they are the guys with the "white hats" who will rescue you. Then they have you eating out of the palm of their hand. And they are masters at it.
On edit, I should explain that I am not pointing my finger at the little guy pug who is just following along for the ride. I'm talking about the "brains" behind the outfit.

without hearing the word "terror"? When are people going to say enough with the scare tactics? One day the Big Bad Wolf really will show up and we won't even pay attention...

"Then they try to convince you that they are the guys with the "white hats" who will rescue you. Then they have you eating out of the palm of their hand. And they are masters at it." Like the other master, Hitler. And I do believe this strategy was used by the Taliban to convince the people of Afghanistan to let them take over.

10. We could probably give most dems a crash course in |
|
world history but I don't think we can save the rest of the country. I'm beginning to wonder if we should even try. Like the lyrics to the Jackson Browne song "Lawyers in Love"
"God sends his spaceships to America, the beautiful They land at six o'clock and there we are, the dutiful Eating from TV trays, tuned in to Happy Days Waiting for World War III while Jesus slaves To the mating calls of lawyers in love"

Replace the word "Democrat" or "homosexual" with the word "Jew". Do we now see where this is going?? This kind of vilification can lead to far worse things.
Santayana was right.
