Graham, on 9/11, goes right after Dubya |
|
<<Asked if political criticism was appropriate on Sept. 11, Graham defended his comments, saying it was "in the best tradition ... to reflect on what we have done to reduce the prospect of another Sept. 11.">> http://www.grahamforpresident.com/news/0309/featured/f030911-1.phpSenator Bob Graham delivered a speech to the Council on Foreign Relations in New York City earlier today.

2. I greatly admire Sen Graham |
|
IMO he and Dean are the two candidates who have made the greatest contribution to the political discourse of this campaign - Graham with his 9/11 evaluations and Dean with his very early criticism of the Iraq war.

Good statement from Graham.
I agree that Graham and Dean have made the greatest contribution to the discussion of national security and international affairs. I like what Dean and Edwards have been saying about the domestic economy -- Dean on fiscal responsibility, Edwards on tax fairness.

Just a question with no point. Idle curiousity, that's all. Maybe it's a requirement of the DNC/DLC that you join.

is that the earlier post on this thread bashed Graham for speaking at CFR and my response was that plenty of prominent Dems are CFR members, so I guess President Carter ought to be bashed on foreign policy issues, too, following the poster's logic
besides, the speech Graham delivered was completely Bush-bashing, and I see nothing wrong with him giving that speech at the CFR

9. If only the good Senator would ask... |
|
"Mr. President, just who in your administration told our military to stand down on 9/11? How long had you and your PNAC buddies been planning this devastation Mr. Bush"? "I'm not interested in hearin all that him-hawing...just answer my question, Mr. Bush! The American people want to know the answer to this question...WHO and now...WHY"? "ANSWER THE QUESTION MR.BUSH"!
