2. Jesus, if MICKEY MOUSE is nominated, I'll support him! |
|
Sorry. Just letting off some anti-Bush steam. Of course I wouldn't vote for the mouse. I might even have a tough time voting for Lieberman or Gephardt. I'm hoping it won't come to that. I'm hoping for: Kerry/Clark, Dean/Clark, or some combination of the above. I'd even have no problem pulling the lever for Edwards.

Stalin, Pol Pot, or some other name that brings me to the point of despair, I'll be voting (D) again, as always.

highly doubtful.
I have never heard any of his ideas at all.
If Clarke is running chances are Nader would be running too and I would probably go ahead and vote for him.

Yes, I know I'm beating this to death. If you haven't seen the man you have no right to bitch. :^) Watch it ya'll. Our new member numbers at the Draft Clark campaign go off the charts whenever the General appears on TV.

I've only seen him on "Meet the Press" or some such show. Very impressive but......
I don't know enough about him. I've been to his leadership website and the DraftClark site, but I'm curious as to what boards he sits on and who his consulting firm consults etc. Anybody know?

20. I did a Google search... |
|
and there is quite a bit, all of it 'good'.
Rhodes scholar. First in his class at West Point. (brains) NATO Commander. ((diplomacy and leadership) Nam vet, with Silver Star. (brave under fire) Took just about every course the military offered, and then some.
There's a lot more, but he is truly a gem. It would be a terrible waste if this man did not take up the cause and help dethrone bush. The admin asked him if he would support them in the Iraq gamble on nukes, he said he would, if he got proof they were involved in making nukes. The admin never got back to him, (wonder why). He refused to support a pre-emptive attack, and appears to have integrity.
Near as I can figure, there are no skeletons in his closet either.

participate in his campaign. I've signed up on the website and am waiting until he announces. As soon as he does a lawn sign and bumber sticker will appear and I will volunteer at the local headquarters. Hell, I'll even send in money.

If oscar the grouch is nominated, will you support him in November?
If my dead cat is nominated, will you support her in November?
Yes to all of the above. If any one of the 9, or Gore, or Hillary, or Clark, or a couple of other possibilities that aren't running that have been mentioned here at DU are nominated by the dems, I will vote for them in the general election.

My wallet is saying ANYONE but Bush.
P.S. for those totally unfamiliar with Clark, nice article in this month's Esquire supporting him.
They also have some pix/encouragement for the other Dem. candidates, even Sharpton.
I have a feeling Esquire is also in the ABB camp!
