Paul Krugman and the Congressional Dems obviously can't hold a candle to this miniature Goebbels-in-training when it comes to advocating honestly and expertly for the fate and future of the program.

This is desperation, pure and simple.

There's no way that Bush and his sycophants could perform a circus act like this from a position of strength, on the basis of his argument.

It's the same as when traveling bible-thumping preachers delighted and awed the hay-seeded rubes in the dust bowl ravaged heartland with the ridiculous spectacles of underaged miracle workers.

KATY, Texas - He took on Howard Dean and won, is a semi-regular on the Tonight Show and has been interviewed on FOX and in the Houston Chronicle. So what is this nine-year-old's latest project? Social Security.

Noah McCullough, a whiz kid from outside of Houston has memorized plenty of presidential history and loves to show it. He and Jay Leno are on a first name basis. In fact, he was just on the show last week. McCullough, a self-described fan of President George W. Bush, campaigned for the president last year and has now been scooped up by the conservative group, Progress For America, (www.progressforamerica.org) to advocate for Social Security reform.

"It just makes sense," McCullough said. "Social Security has major problems that need to be addressed now and not ignored.

"A lot of Americans didn't support President Roosevelt's effort to create Social Security at first. Now it will take a while for everyone to be fully educated about what President Bush wants to do to strengthen it. I think the President's plan is pure genius." <<
