Anybody see and hear what John Gibson (FOXnews) said about Giuliana Sgrena

He referred to her as a "so-called journalist." I was not at home last night and had to stomach through a FOX news broadcast. When I heard that comment, I asked my host to please turn on a real news broadcast to which he replied, "Rush doesn't come on until 12 noon tomorrow. I couldn't tell if he were joking because I was on my way out of his front door by the time he completed the sentence.

So this woman whose profession is reporting, who was kidnapped, and who was almost killed by US forces is a "so-called journalist" to Gibson while "Gannon" is a journalist who the left is trashing. I wanted to e-mail Gibson but I didn't want him to know that someone actually watched his show.

than "some are saying". (this phrase is generally used to get across opinion, not fact). The "some are saying" is common on hate-radio. It's used to promote but springs from no basis.
So, you might want to mention who is saying. Then you'll have credence.

Here's your logic: She is a journalist and activist who is against the war, working for an anti-war Italian newspaper (Il Manifesto). For this reason, her kidnapping in Baghdad MAY have been a hoax designed to put pressure on the Berlusconi government to withdraw its forces from the Iraqi quagmire.

Now, do you have any evidence that this HYPOTHESIS is true? Does the Italian government believe that she was well and truly kidnapped? Weren't they the ones negotiating with her abductors? And wouldn't that mean that they have more information that online speculators? Would Berlusconi take lightly such political blackmail on false pretenses? Would he play along with such extortion? Or expose it? The hoax speculation is nothing but bunk coming from the most deranged fringe elements of the right wing. It is contrary to anything a reasonable person could infer from the situation. Palatable? It is absolutely comical. And stupid.

I read his column on the FOKKS website where he refered to her as "disgusting" and that he was "disgusted" over her comments that the US soliders were aiming for her.
