"Wag the Dog, pt II" comming to your TV screens soon.
Remember when you were little and you went into a dark room, feeling along the wall for the light switch, hoping you'd find it before something really bad "got you".

For the last few hours, I've gotten that bad feeling again. I have tried to read everyone's opinion on the current intelligence crisis and all the "evidence". I've looked at the time lines, statements by everyone in the administration, attempts by Condi Rice and Powell to discredit Tenent, and now news that we had no plan for post-Saddam Iraq, which looks like a sand-covered Viet Nam.

I look at the polls. Shrubs ratings among the lemmings are falling faster than an anvil falling out of a tree. I look at the economy. Worst jobless situation in almost 20 years, only 22% of the working base involved in manufacturing, the possibility of deflation driving a knife into the heart of the economy. I look at our stature on the world's stage.

And I keep thinking, how is this administration going to stop the bleeding.

They aren't.

Watch for "Wag the Dog, part II" comming to your TV screens fairly soon.
