To the turncoat dems who voted for the bankruptcy bill |
|
And I mean all 19 of you.... NINETEEN!
Why do you insist on giving the Republicans victories on such a scale? It would have passed without your votes, why do you allow the Republicans to go home to their districts talking about how the Bankruptcy bill was Bi-Partisan?
To take a phrase from one of your heroes, I think it was Tom Delay, "Bipartisanship is date rape".
When you go home to campaign in 2006 and proclaim that YOU are the representative of the working man, will you feel some twinge of guilt?
When you meet constituents who have medical difficulties and lose EVERYTHING and STILL have to pay more, will you tell them how you are allied with Rick Santorum and Trent Lott?
Screw all of you. You had a chance to stand up for Americans, and you failed.

3. Let's ensure these traitors NOT ever get re-elected? |

Suggest that we all do our part to work within our local Democratic groups to smear the hell out of these heartless DINOs. Yes, and at ever damn given opportunity, I'll be happy to do my little part. :-)

viable grassroots democratic candidates to campaign against them in the primaries.

Who can get Ch. 7 and who gets Ch. 13. However, here in America, we punish millions for the abuses of a few.

10. there are always abuses. |
|
the fact is there is no way you can avoid it -- but you do the best you can for the most people.
bankruptcy is no pleasure trip -- it's a horrifying experience for most folk -- and takes years to recover from.
credit card companies and the law firms that glean their living from them rake in record profits regardless of the current situation -- and they hold americans hands, if not damn well push them over the edge while they do it.
we already know that most americans declare bankruptcy for medial bills -- it's pretty fucking much like rape to shackle them to debt.
not such a tough call -- kinda stupid to hurt the people that are very engine of thei ''great land of ours''.
revolutions have been made of issues like this.

11. NOT a tough situation at all |
|
It would be exceedingly simple to make a few small changes to the system to catch the few that are cheating. I've been doing this for 25 years and I can tell you the cheats are few and far between.
This is a massive, horrid and draconian effort to stop people who are in dire straits from regaining an economic foothold in society.
My republican lawyer friends are OUTRAGED at this bill, OUTRAGED. This is NOT a partisan issue. It is a hack bill bought and paid for by the slime ball peddlers of usury to squeeze extra pennies out of people on the edge of survival.

Because they all have there hand full of Bank cash. The lenders most likely demanded bi-partisan support.
Sickening eh?
