Hillary Story to make a smile for the day... |
|
Took Mom to the ER lat night, age 91, with CHF and pneumonia. The ER doctor needs to ask some "reality" based questions. One of them was: "Who is the President?" Well, Mom thought a moment and answered: "President Clinton." Doctor looked up at me and just shrugged his shoulders, however, one of the ER nurses said, "that's OK, Honey, Hillary won't be president until 2008!" Needless to say, that broke the tension in the ER.
PS-Mom doing better today, but I won't tell her who is president until 2008!

1. The Belief That We Still Have a President... |

...named Clinton may have given her strength!
Seriously, I'm glad your Mom is doing better. I've taken my Mom to the ER several times, as has my wife (ChicaAzul)on one occasion. All my best to her!

4. similar story happened to my husband... |
|
he got bells palsy and went to the ER because of a fear of stroke.
One of the questions..."Who is the president"? My husband replied, "I know Bush is but Gore was the one who should be president"....the doc said..."Now I know you didn't have a stroke"
