But even if they're unsuccessful at that, it will almost certainly be defeated if it comes to a vote. In some ways, having it come to a vote might be better as we can get lot's of Senators on record as to how they voted and it could lead to some schism w/in the Repub party if some of the Repub Senators vote against...A vote might be more interesting actually.

If Republicians would understand, and they seem to, that Bush has ruined every business he ran. Having a MBA from Harvard doesn't seem to help him any either. Must have been all that drinking.

His mandate was from the Christian right mostly. But thanks to Jim Wallis, people are awakening to the fact that they are left out of the on-sided conversation. For right now, the Moses 10 is the real issue. If the decision supported church-state separation, Christian right will whine but Wallis will support it. We need our pluralism and we need to get along.
