1. Beautiful!
I found it especially amusing as a Christian who believes the rapture is a bunch of bull. I've often thought Jesus to be annoyed in general over how many waste such time and energy over such a marginal and questionable doctrine, instead of actually following his teachings.

"Not taking you anywhere till you clean this mess up!" Definitely my quote of the day, perhaps of the year!

9. And beats the heck out of those "God" billboards we have around here.
Don't know if you've got them where you are, but a while back we were treated to a series of them, with messages from above such as:

"We need to talk. ---God"

or my personal favorite (NOT!):

"Don't make me come down there. ---God"

10. One of the central themes of the Genesis creation story
is that humans, as the final and best of God's creations, were given the resposibility as stewards of the earth resources. And being made in the "imago dei" (image of God), we are to care for those resources for God, and not assume God gave them to us merely for our use and pleasure.

7. perfect!
I teach a course on resource management, and I always do a segment on how cultural attitudes affect our expectations for the environment. Sometimes I have trouble finding an appropriate quote or cartoon to leave up on the overhead machine while people are arriving for the class (gives them something to look at). This is great! Thanks for posting!

David Simpson is one of my most talented artists!

He also does a strip called Ozy & Millie

13. David Simpson is very good
I've been reading Ozy and Millie for years now, and it's a very humorous, deep, and heart-warming comic strip. And his political cartoons are just icing on his resume, as they're all hilariously accurate, too.

He's a very talented cartoonist, and I'm sure there are big things in store for him.
