The pro-Divorce, anti-Family act |
|
For all the "values" talk the Bush and his moralizers make, they came down solid in their attack on marriage this week.
The best tactic if your spouse is expensively ill and you see it coming? Divorce.
With the new bankruptcy law, creditors can get your house and make you homeless.
If I get cancer, I'm divorcing my wife ASAP and giving her the house and all my assets. That way I can get good medical care without fear of making my family homeless.

1. Looks like that's the only way to keep anything is a devastating illness |

hits you...as long as you divorce soon after you find out you are ill and she is no longer on any accounts but that doesn't mean that they won't investigate to see if you still live there or come to see her a lot.
This whole bill will make criminals of us all when we are in a desperate state. Most people are focusing on the credit card side and saying that people should pay their bills and not seeing the catastrophic illness side...the death of a spouse can ruin the remaining one too.
