Listen to the Mike Malloy reruns if you really want to understand
what makes him so effective in expressing the deepest truths about what is happening. It is like watching a good movie a second or third time, or revisiting a holy space. Instead of just being swept along with the unfolding of the show, the reruns give me a chance to appreciate how he does what he does.

1. I wish I could respond to wingnuts like he does
he is the master. I sit at his feet in adoration.
;)

3. The thing is, he gives them a fair shake, but lays down truth...
...as a ground rule.

They always end up looking like total idiots.

2. I always feel like I'm 15 years old listening to Jimi Hendrix's -

"Are You Exierienced" and it feels like every note is electricity that's going to shake me to my core. Mike can have the same effect on me as well because he uses his words just like Hendrix used his guitar.

4. Great comparison. He is a true artist . He can use his
voice and choose his words is a way that just cuts away all the noise and clutter and reveals the very essence -- the truth, the reality, and the moral meaning of what is happening.

5. I don't listen to him every night...
but I haven't heard him really tear a RW freak apart in a while. Recently he seems to shut them out pretty quickly. I can't say I blame him - even the shortest exchange sends his blood pressure dangerously close to vein-bursting levels...
