...trying to say that a 50+% approval can be phrased as "hugely popular"...now that's pretty damn funny. Maybe he's hugely popular from within the base of unquestioning diehards that want to crown him king, but the rest of us, and the rest of the world, hate the maggot...

The latest revelations will, to many people, cast doubt on the irrational belief that 'republicans are better at fighting terrorism'. More and more people are going to realize that they invade whomever they feel like, for their own reasons. And many of them will realize that this makes us *less* safe.

they "used to" say that Bush*'s greatest asset was the perception that he was an honest straight-talking texan. (well, at least he is still a texan.)
