Okay how do we do this? We have to get our ammo together.
Seriously folks, this story ain't going away and these thugs are going to be nailed and I want to help drive those nails.

So, my proposal is that we Google our little hearts out on each of these thugs to get "what they said and when they said it...what they knew and when they knew it."

We could assign a certain thug (e.g. Cheney) to a couple of DUers willing to do the job and get as much info as we can. There is a whole lot of shit out there. Just today one DUer posted a great article from a Cuban newspaper. Catch my drift? We go ANYWHERE and EVERYWHERE to find it. Newspapers around the world.

Okay, this is where I hit a brick wall...how do we organize this? Who assigns a particular thug to whom? (1 or 2 DUers can successfully get the goods on these people). Can someone help here? Someone who is good as organizing. We need our ammo.

I am willing to do my part. I will Google for whatever info you want, and keep a database of these articles for future reference. Then we can hit the media when they start "their shit" with GOOD reliable references.

What do you guys think?

A cross reference database would be good too. So you can not only hit the individual, but the situation as well.

In this current uranium thing. My take.

Rumsfeld told the Senate on Wednesday that he had just heard about the uranium "a few days ago".

Powell said he didn't use the uranium info because "it didn't stand up to the test of time." He also said he spent 4 days going through the intelligence. Which means the uranium info was bad 3 days after Bush said it.

Condi had her own spin and I honestly don't remember what it was anymore, but it didn't seem to match anything anybody else said.

Tenet says the uranium info was discussed with National Security Council colleagues which is Pres, VP, Rumsfled, Powell and Condi.

So how could they all have different stories?

Before the war I told somebody keeping up with the lies was like being in a hornet's nest, so many flying around it was next to impossible to swat them all down. It's gotten worse.

I'm in anytime.

3. the MWs are burying this niger story
Edited on Sat Jul-12-03 09:43 PM by Friar
as quickily as they can. On Capital Gang on Fox Light every panelist was dissing the importance of that story. Every "news commentary" program on the other channels did the same.
No one is yet calling the Bush Regime liars. They are making excuses everywhere. Bush declared, "I'ts over", Fleischer declared it's time to "move on" and the BFEE get a pass, as always.

4. Yeah, sure, BUSH says it's over...
...but it's not up to him!

We need to remind him of that!

Since when is he judge, jury and executioner? (All three I mean, LOL)

Interesting how every player was given their script. Bush smirks on Friday, saying he thinks it's probably the intelligence services. He KNOWS that the intelligence services are the ones they will target that day, so Condi chimes in, blaming Tenet, others all point to the CIA, then lo and behold, ON THE SAME DAY, Tenet says, "Oops! It was me all along! My Bad!"

Then George forgives everybody and they all live happily ever after.

Why did Tenet wait so long? They flipped him. George gave him a pardon in exchange for taking the fall for this one.

They think this is going to work.

It won't. We'll make sure of that. There are too many lies beyond just this one, there are no findings of WMD, and nobody likes being lied to. This story will not go away, certainly not by Presidential Fiat.

6. That is very plausible, actually.
Intelligence Director...Criminal Organization. Makes sense he'd know *something*, considering all the dirty deals they've done.

I just saw the latest Tenet story. As Walt Starr put it, he just stabbed Junior in his back the day after he had his job guaranteed. See post #16.
