6. So I hollered out, "GLORIA"
and she turned from the stands to see where the voice might be coming from. She was flush from climbing and the music was getting louder. The smell of pot smoke filled the air and the sound from the stage echoed down the corridors of the stadium.

All around there were people in tie-dyed attire with leather roman sandles. Some passed seemingly in a trance. Others stood stationary, just gazing past every face that came into their view.

All of a sudden, a dog grabbed me by the hand and told me to follow him. I grabbed my beer and left.

7. No, and I couldn't stand seeing them like that. I couldn't watch my g-ma
when she was on life support.

11. I had to put my dog Tippy to sleep this morning. It was never a
consideration to do anything that would not help him live a good life full of quality. It was the most painful thing I have ever personally had to do but it never crossed my mind to put myself ahead of his suffering. I loved my dog. I loved him this much. I can't imagine not doing it differently.

Tippy Born September 24, 1994. Died March 28, 2005

13. I'm so sorry to hear that, rv...
When I had to make the decision about my poodle, Paddy, a few years ago, it was deeply painful thing to do.

Rest in Peace, Tippy.:hugs:

15. I'm so sorry. Tippy looks like a real sweetheart.
I had to put one of my babies to sleep two years ago. Even though she was old it's still incredibly hard.

16. I'm so sorry for your loss.
You did the responsible thing. About life support--if it would get one of my pets through a crisis, and they could come out of it with some quality life left, I'd do it in a second. But I also know that, when the time comes, it's my job to make sure they don't suffer needlessly, just because I'm too selfish to ease their way out. Tippy had a good friend in you, and I'm sure you gave him a very, very satisfying, loving, secure life.

sitting here disbelieving he isn't sitting in my lap.

20. I personally have never heard ever of any pet being put on life support.
the closest I have ever seen is a morphine drip for a spinal injury, but that dog was eventually put down.

If someone here knows of a facility where they keep pets on "life support", do tell.

22. My kitty spent a week on an IV drip, in a very weird situation.
And though it was well thought out, if I had it to do over again I wouldn't.

17. Can we put a person on an animal's life support?
I mean, to see if we can turn him/her into a chicken or a wildebeast?

That would be so fucking cool.
