Woman Arrested For Making E-Mailed Threats To Governor


BELLINGHAM - A Whatcom County woman is accused of sending threatening e-mails to Governor Christine Gregoire.

Court documents show one message sent Feb. 17 said, "I will never vote again in my life. I would urinate on your flag. This is what I learned in your state. If you were Abe Lincoln and wanted to end slavery your brains would be blown out."

Court documents say on Feb. 28 she wrote: "I am requesting $2.5 million dollars."
On March 11th: "Ms. Gregoire you are dead meat to God."
On March 15th: "I am not lying. There is going to be a murder attempt on your life, you children's lives and your husband."

In Whatcom County Court Monday afternoon, Linville told the judge she's being set up. She says she's a victim of fraud and harassment by the state.

Bellingham is progressive but the more rural you go, the more whackjobs are out there. I don't have any bumper stickers on my car for this specific purpose. There are tons of fundies out here in rural hell too.
