Why can't MSNBC and CNN get it?? When they get these freaks like Scarborough and (god help us) Tucker Carlson, they are not going to get ratings... the right-wing Nazis have Fox News to turn to, they aren't going to watch the (what they believe is) "liberal media outlets." I don't consider Keith Olbermann, in any way, a "liberal" news show. I consider his show - a NEWS show. In other words, he reports the truth an lets the chips fall where they may.
Now, here's the problem: A.) MSNBC doesn't have the reach of CNN or Faux as a pick-up for cable or satellite; B.) the decisions on marketing come straight out of Rockefeller Plaza and not in Secaucus, NJ; therefore, there is little marketing of MSNBC outside of "Imus in the Morning," C.) How do we get more liberals and left-leaners to become Nielson families when Nielson picks the families (you cannot volunteer - I tried) so that our views on what's crap are heard.
Interesting dilemma we have. Can't stand the shit we're getting and can't prove to the bean-counters that the shit we're getting is shit and can't just leave off and not watch the shit we're getting so that we'll know it's shit we're getting.
