Falwell's living will says he wants to stay a veggie....whaaaaa?
After claiming Terri's condition is just like his was a few weeks ago, he goes on to say:

"But I've already given my living will. Don't you dare pull the plug on me. I want to wake up in 14 years and say, "What day is it? What time is it?"

How many people do you think make out a living will that says they want to stay on life support forever??? And this from a guy who supposedly believes he's going straight to God's right hand.

He's made a choice that I would not, but at least it's his choice and not the hospital's.

15. If he has faith...
he should be happy to go beyond this life. Isn't that what they're waiting for their whole life?

I believe that many such people are scared to death of dying. Down deep, somewhere buried beneath all their clap-trap is the knowledge that - they just don't know what awaits them. And/or they have regrets.

It's hard to let go clean if you have regrets about your behavior. Perhaps they didn't treat people nicely - were mean and cruel - and they know they weren't behaving in God's name, but out of personal vindictiveness.

Edited on Tue Mar-29-05 12:34 PM by kweerwolf
I hope God takes a very literal interpretation of his request and reincarnates Jerry as a cucumber destined to be the <ahem!> phallic-substitute rectal-insertive device pressed into service by an extremely horny, but very lonely gay guy!
