Re: the new Tenet Niger story - the "administration official" could be |

someone from State, someone from the Pentagon...hell, Rand Beers, Greg Thielmann and Joseph Wilson were all 'administration officials' because they came in with the administration.
I said it on Thursday, Mr. Bush: Scapegoat the CIA at your mortal meril, you dumb shit.
Burn, baby, burn.

They are the ones getting hammered, and like Walt said, this leak has been timed perfectly to stab Resident Dumbass in the back. My money is on Tenet, too.

Got any ideas on how to help keep this on the burner, Mr. Pitt? The last few days have been pretty invigorating, to say the least. Sadly, we have been sooooo right. Not the usual satisfaction, however, there was and is too much at stake.

Front page of the Washington Post Sunday edition pretty much = front burner. Write the paper and thank them for running the story.

I am a former spook, I knew they would turn on Bush. He should have known that you do not betray your own intelligence agents. What a bozo.
My No Such Agency friends on my mailing list are turning on Bush Many were big Bush supporters. Rummy is hated by them.

Yes, it is a validating experience for ourselves to see this monstrosity of an executive branch finally caught up in their games. And quite possibly actually called on it by the mass media.
But we have a mess in Iraq. Responsibility and accountability in Washington will lead to a better resolution of that mess for our soldiers and the Iraqi people.
To me, that's the best part of Bush and the Neocon's being exposed.

The WH crowd thought they had the weekend water running their way by engineering Tenet's hari-kari Friday. This story hitting Saturday says these Langley guys not only want their side out, they want to hit--politically--at this misadministration. This is hardball.
You shall be known by the company you keep.
