Dr. Bernadine Healy ? A Rant'o'vent

I saw her pundit'ing on Ron Reagan's show at noon, and she was spewing more pro-Shiavo "I want to live" blather by drawing attention to Terri's had no "modern" neurological tests since 2002.

So I paid attention. OMIGOD, is it as simple as running the 2005 version of MRI that will prove Terri's only been sleeping for 15 years??? So it's possible she only needs more modern medical treatment and therapy to cure her!?! Wow. (of course, Ron was rolling over on his back and letting Twinkie Crowly continue the interview).

BUZZZZZZZ....this is the same Dr. Healy who ran the Red Cross during 9-11 ? Didn't she re-direct some of those those donations to remodelling and upgrading computers at Red Cross offices? Funny, she was allowed to DIRECT the NIH after that? Though no mention of her Red Cross days.

I am vexed. And pissed off, needless to say!

...she was the one who created it by whining, "well, we have other tragedies to take care of too" while sucking in millions in donations post 9-11. The bitch! I doubt we had upgrading her office in mind when sending the Red Cross our bread and milk money!

Guess we (generic) can't depend on our media to explain what went wrong with that little experiment. I lost a Dad and a sister to a rare form of GBM (brain cancer)...top medical centers highly recommended we, the family, pull those plugs FAST. We did, and moved on.
