Your Are Not Going to Believe this- Federal Complaint Filed For Schiavo
Federal Complaint Filed with DOJ in Schiavo Case Alleging ADA Violations

© The Empire Journal

A New York State special education teacher has filed a detailed eight-page complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice on behalf of Terri Schindler-Schiavo, alleging numerous violations of the Americans with Disabilities.

An immediate stay of execution has been requested until the matter can be investigated..

Danielle P. Miller, special education teacher at the Central Islip High School at Central Islip, Suffolk County, NY, filed the complaint Monday, March 28 and served copies upon Florida’s Gov. Jeb Bush, President George W. Bush, Florida Attorney General Charlie Crist, DCF Secretary Luci Hadi as well as numerous other state and federal officials.

Named as defendants in the complaint filed with the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division, Disability Rights Section, are judges in Florida’s Sixth Judicial Circuit Court, the Florida Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit; and the U.S. Supreme Court as defendants.

6. It's a ploy of the parents
and Randall Terry to make it look like the parents have more control than they do.

She never hyphenated her name in all the time she was married.

10. A New York State special education teacher
Jurisdiction and does this person have the right to intervene on this case?

Wasn't the case reviewed Federally? Frivolous lawsuits? This case has been adjudicated endlessly.

8. Stay of Execution? WTF? She's not a serial killer sitting on Death Row.
She's a woman who has won relief from the courts to carry out her wishes. By what right does a Spec Ed Teacher from NY have standing in this case anyway?

Okay. That's it. This country is going absolutely fucking nuts.

18. I read the entire site
It is worth a damn read. "They", whoever "They" are are scaping the bottom of the barrel. Do they REALLY care? No they do not. The accuse the husband of Medicaid/Medicare fraud and they question the doctor about when her teeth were last cleaned as "evidence".

What a pile of phuckin shit.

23. Right Wingers
The right wingers are just trying to swamp the courts with these lawsuits. Habeus corpus does not apply here. Terri Schiavo is in a private facility and not in govt. custody.

have emasculated the ADA, despite its clear and unambiguous language and despite the clear intent of Congress.

15. I stop paying attention when hyperbole like "stay of execution"
is used.

And, by the way, someone should tell Ms. Miller that her name is Terri Schiavo, not Terri Schindler-Schiavo.

21. I've said it before, it needs to be said again: These people don't care
about Mrs. Schaivo.

Its obvious in the way they are carrying themselves and the way they are grabbing up publicity while they can.

They are only trying to "save" her so they can get some face time in the media and been seen as "caring" and "compassionate".

This is just like the abortion issue.

24. WTF...
..does "stay of execution mean?" Like I know it means generally speaking, but we aren't talking about a person on death row here.

So does this mean that the tubes are to be reinserted?
