Republicans do not know how to govern. If you believe government is important, you definitely never want to vote for a Republican.
To them, all social programs for people are bad. All social programs for corporations or "special interests", usually small in proportion to populace, are acceptable to them.
All military spending is good. Deficits are no longer bad. They are only a small percentage of the GDP, as if they can reach out and take whatever they want from the people that own the GDP, as if it were their own. But the irony is, they don't want to pay more taxes to pay for any programs. To the contrary, they want to cut taxes! As spending is increasing! It is insane.
They do not believe in government but they use "government's" resources to promote the interests of their special friends and corporations. They know how to drive our country over the cliff. They are very good at it. But they know nothing about governance.

1. "All military spending is good" |

Actually all military spending for favored defense contractors is good. Defense spending for personnel is bad. Personnel costs go into personal pockets of individual troops, sailors and airmen. That is bad. It also increases the costs of benefit packages for individuals who serve. This takes money away from contractors. That is bad. This is the repuke view of defense spending. Their greed causes them to try to devise ways to carry out a policy of belligerency with the smallest regular forces since before the Vietnam war.

4. They also believe funding veteran's benefits is bad |

Once the service person is no further use to their plans for world conquest, they cut them loose and let them fend for themselves.
I don't see how any member of the armed services could support this regime.

2. The refrain "taxes are bad" has been bought by |

so many sheeple, even the poor, that we have a big education program ahead of us. Chimpy's request for $87B was a mistake for the repugs because he made it so public. Pretty much everyone knows about it... and the majority are against. The repugs usually rule by saying one thing and doing another. Why did they veer from their game plan on this one? Why not do it quietly and with some accounting gimmicks?

Maybe they thought that, having got away with the huge deficit so far, the public reaction would be muted. And that, since the budget is meant to be Congress' responsibility, Congress would hate it more than the public. This would then give them the chance to blame the screwups in Iraq on Congress; that might be more important to them now than the defense profits. They're in election mode now. Increased profits can wait until they're safely back in.

They will try to force the Congressional dems to cut social programs to reduce the deficit, because, after all, we need the $87B to "support our troops" and that's the first priority.

7. Red States aka Red Ink Republican states use Govewrnment funds |

considerably more than the blue states. The red states are waaayyy more dependent on government largess than the blue states but yet want us to believe they are somehow more self reliant. Is there something fundlementally wrong with Republicans. Do they not have all their connections hooked up? There is such a huge disconnect there and they refuse to see it. Can it be possible that either there is mass hypnosis going on or else they are just mentally deficient. How is it possible for them to not see the hypocrisy? That has to be one of the most baffling mysteries of the modern era.
