2. He can always ask for political asylum in Iraq.
He did some of his best humanitarian work there.

3. I agree with you about him being a war criminal, but....
Edited on Thu Mar-31-05 06:39 PM by chaumont58
the US being the biggest bully on the block means that no members of chimpie's menagerie is going to be indicted as a war criminal. Without doubt, if Bush had done what he did, invade Iraq, in 1939 for Germany, he would have been hanged at Nuremberg in 1946.
There was another thread today about double standards. The biggest bully on the block has a totally different set of rules to live by.

5. That assumes he does something good at the World Bank
which he won't. As far as he's concerned, the third world can pay for the bombs we drop on their weak asses and like it!

7. How is destroying the worlds economies atonement?
Edited on Thu Mar-31-05 08:26 PM by K-W
To answer your question, no. He is just taking control of a different arm of US global domination than he was working in before.

8. At least he will be able to put a fig leaf over his war crimes by claiming
his intent was to help people in the devloping world.

9. He can run, but he can't hide
He is still one of the chief architects of one of the major crimes of recent history: the unprovoked invasion of a sovereign state, justified by a pack of deliberate lies, for the purpose of placing that nation's resources under foreign control.
