I am enraged that the President acknowledged Terri Schiavo's death within minutes, but waited 3 days to acknowledge the Minnesota tragedy and the tsunami tragedy.

I had a discussion with a friend who is of Japanese descent about the Iraq war. I told him I could not understand why the American public was not outraged by the deaths of innocent Iraqis and were all but silent on the subject. He responded "because the Iraqis are brown skinned and not considered white". He was 100% serious and I believe right after some thought.
