The law of supply and demand is perceptual bull ploppies |
|
:rant::rant::rant::rant::rant:
Why?
Because there are more LAWYER LAW FIRMS in the white pages than there are car dealers and yet their fees remain astronomical.
Are new laws made for their benefit that guarantee them a constant need?
And how many politicians aren't lawyers these days?

oil has begun running out, just about any and every group has been subjected to new taxes.
Except for one--lawyers.
Obviously, even if lawyers do not control the various legislatures, the representatives' key staff members who draft the legislation are.
I am wondering how law firms will deal with the "offshoring/outsourcing" issue. Since they are run as businesses and are no longer a "gentleman's profession," I would imagine that some cutthroat entrepreneur will find a way to "import" legal services from India at a much lower cost than the bar monopoly can go along with. Then there will be fireworks in whatever legislature or court hears that dispute.

I suspect that when one appears in court without paying the tithe(hiring a lawyer) that one is penalized with excess punishment by the presiding member of the guild.
And who ever asked for pet rocks anyway?

When the supply of a commodity can be manipulated by the rich & powerful without regard to the public's demand for it, the "law" doesn't work.
