Regarding Psychosurgery,
Despite the fact that there was extensive evidence that psychosurgery was not therapeutic, operations continued unabated for decades. This was because it was considered unprofessional to criticize another physician in public, so many doctors who knew that psychosurgery was a farce did not make their opinions known. This allowed the psychosurgeons to continue unchecked from the late 1930s through the 1970s.

Regarding Islamic Terrorism,
Islamic Terrorists and Intolerant Muslims form a minority, just as in other religions. The problem is that when Liberal and Progressive
Muslims act against the violent Muslims, there is often little or no
coverage. I myself am a Liberal Muslim, and I feel as though I could
act against Al Qaeda for as long as I humanly could, and I would get
nothing accomplished.

And regarding America,
Bush, the Republican Party, and the 'christian' Right have all but
declared themselves the rulers of the United States. If we do not act against these Tyrants, they will destroy all that we hold dear. We have to declare a Revolution, not a violent one, but one to create a nation where the freedom to think is encouraged and the 'liberal' media is dismantled.
