(ClearChannel, by the way)

I have heard this guy on more than one occasion endorse the "glass parking lot" (nuclear) solution to the Middle East crises. He fellates * at least ten times in every show.

What a moran. He should listen to the lyrics of that song some time.

1. Well, it's RealRadio
Real Radio is just an alternative kind of talk station. The Monsters in the MidDay are just --not my type, but I do like the Phillips Phile. Phillips and Moira are Dems there.

2. I like Jim Phillips
Burke is entertaining until he gets into politics, which he doesn't seem to really be well read in. His attitudes are more middle of the road than most Bushies, and then there are some things he is very far to the right on. He is one who seems ignorant to Bush, he just likes the image of the "strong leader". He would find something more if he dug deeper, though.

3. I actually enjoy Burke's show when he's not on politics.
And I agree...he's very ignorant and always sides with the freepers.

Anyhow, I just found his choice of theme music to be pretty ironic.

5. I think SBK picks the music, but I am not sure, that is funny, though!

6. Soul Brotha Kevin is pretty much why I listen.
He makes the show.

11. phillips has become about nothing.

He had some good political views when he came on after Clive Thomas, but the right wing took Thomas off and phillips got scared of them and now he talks about nothing at all. No conflict.

12. I've noticed that...now he and Moira just scoff and change the subject.
Lefties on the mainstream radio (in areas where Air America doesn't reach) have been emasculated.

Jim Phillips used to be really anti-Bush (I even once nominated him to Skinner to add a "Listen Live" link to his show). Now the Phile is just games...you're right, it's a show about nothing.

9. "Embrace: Extinguish"
They dont care that the song actually blasts the right-wing and Bush's tactics....they just want to embrace it and make it thier own, then it looses it's value to the left.

10. It kinda reminds me of Reagan using "Born in the USA"
Hypocrisy brings irony.

13. Too funny!
He might want to listen to the rest of Green Day's masterpiece. Then again, he's probably too stupid to understand what it's all about.
