Terri's Law - My email to Barbara Boxer

With the Frist-DeLay circus over Terry Schiavo over - hopefully - it is time to get serious about "HEALTH."

We must respond with a "Democratic Terri's Law".

1. At he very least we need free, quality pre-natal and early child hood health care for every American.

2. As the Terri Schiavo case clearly shows - we need government "re-insurance" for catastrophic illnesses and "end of life" care. Certainly, if we are going to have politicians roaming the hallways of hospitals and hospices -- these bio-ethics enforcers must see to it that America's families are not driven into debtors prison or peonage by end-of-life care or catastrophic illness.
