Have you ever had the opportunity to enter your toons in contests?

The DC & Baltimore City Papers (erroneously called 'alternative papers') have annual toon contests. The winner gets a contract for a year and actually gets paid.

Your work is leaps and bounds better than that of the winners around here!

a local paper publishes politic cartoons from locals in their sunday paper...

so I sent off a batch on thursday -- no answer yet -- too early to expect a response

3. OK, Rad! You need to research submitting your work!

Tribune Media, King, et al all have info on their websites about how to submit your work for consideration...

How many pieces, exact sizes, whether or not is has to be camera ready, etc.

Get busy!
