3. Here's a little synopsis |
|
" A downturn in the maple syrup market is having harmful side effects for trees in northern New England. For the first time in decades, the maples are remaining untapped, with sometimes-dangerous results."
That's from the second link. I tried listening to the NPR broadcast but got bored. I guess they did an April Fool's on the maple syrup industry in decline due to low carb dieting reducing demand for syrup.
Peculiar, because for the first time today in a long time, I bought maple syrup. :D

As a native Vermonter my first clue was the fact that the farmers had Maine accents (really BAD Maine accents). I was laughing tears all the way home. They put a LOT of work into this piece, the sound effects were hysterical! :toast:

10. The funniest one they did was "Cosmetic Navel Removal". |
|
I almost bought it, then passed it on at work as serious news. One airhead (who had had "breast enhancement") asked if they said how much it cost.
