During the Gulf War #1, our troops were fighting an Iraqi army armed by the US. I remember a CNN news story (they were still a news organization in '91) where a US Army sergeant was instructing some troops on the types of land mines they would be encountering. All made in the USA. He said the Iraqi's had a few million of them, and we knew this because we had the reciepts.
