Everything okay at AAR?

A RW friend (bitch actually) was telling me about how HBO aired a documentart on AAR? I don't get the station, or have Sirius... can anyone help me out? I have no clue what he was talking about. :shrug:

Said something about them saying they had 2 years of capitol, and then went broke.

I have no clue. I hadn't heard anything of the sort.

first year or so was. Money issues, management issues, etc.

Which, of course, isn't unusual in the radio business as I understand it.

First of all, you can stream AAR at www.airamericaradio.com

The show was about the struggle of AAR and how it almost went bust after a few months due to poor management and lack of sufficient funding. They've recovered and are doing well and still expanding. since that show aired, 3 more stations have been added with more on the way. they're now at 53 + XM and Sirius.

The ratings showed that they were already whipping the RW guys during the fall and winter.

AAR is fine. You're friend is dillusional with wishful thinking.

She apparently zoned out to the last half of the documentary where they started overcoming all those money problems and were becoming highly successful.

Or it was selective watching. Either way your friend missed the whole point of the documentary.
