What companies are contributing to the Tom Delay defense fund? |
|
I was listening to Ed Schultz yesterday and right before he had Sen. Obama on he mentioned that several companies are contributing to the Tom Delay Defense fund.
The ones I found so far are:
Nissan USA American Airlines Bacardi USA Verizon R. J. Reynolds
Boycotting each one of these for me wouldn't be hard. I haven't had a mixed drink in 7 years (Bacardi), I usually flay Delta, my cell phone service has been decided and it wasn't Verison, I buy American cars anyway and I don't smoke which takes some of the wind out of the sails of R.J. Reynolds.
But are their any other companies I should be aware of that are in support of this thug. In all honesty I don't like boycotting if it eventually means putting some libs or Dems out of work. I would like to write letters to each of these companies asking them "What are you thinking?'
I hope this isn't a repeat since I haven't been on the 'puter much this week.

Bell South and Eberle Communications are among donors. Mostly individuals, quite a few RW pols, who might be finding this more expensive than they thought! http://www.opensecrets.org/alerts/v6/delay.asp
