WINDSOR, England (AP) - Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles were married Saturday in a modest civil ceremony at the 17th century Guildhall, and the second marriage for each was blessed by the Church of England as the royals knelt before Archbishop of Canterbury in a majestic ceremony beneath the soaring arches of the Gothic St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.

This just makes me laugh, as my wife and I were married in a converted elevator shaft by a clerk in tennis shoes. The license cost fifteen bucks, and we spent a weekend at the beach for our honeymoon. Next year we will celebrate twenty years of marriage.

3. By the standards of the royalty in Thailand,it is indeed modest. I have

personally witnessed the wedding of a Thai princess, where the groom rode an elephant decked,not just with flowers but rubies and diamonds, and a sixty piece band walked ahead of the elephant.When this entourage met with a similar procession on the bride's side, both the grrom and bride walked together inside a palace where a Hindu ceremony officiated by 100 priest conducted the ceremony chanting verses from the Rig Veda the 3500 year old Hindu sacred text.

When the ceremonies were over, the King ordered free dinner for all the people( more than 100,000 of them).

I would say, Charles and Camilla did have a modest ceremony!

I predict the marriage is "ill-fated." They both have some heavy karma to pay for their cruel treatment of Di (and possibly even her "offing" in 1997)...and I think the fate of their ACTUAL, long-awaited marriage will be well worth watching.

Plus, Charles refused to sign a "pre-nup"...against the advisement of his attorneys. He said he trusts Camilla?! Guys, what do you think? Is that a mug you can trust with the British jewels?

They have seen popes, bishops and dignitaries decked out in lavish dress, they witness the red carpet parade of overdone excesses and are paid exorbitant salaries to repeat what every other news show repeats. Yeaterday morning, my husband was having breakfast at a diner close to his work. They had the wedding on TV. He told me about some of the comments such as "Nice blue dress." He couldn't watch it any more. I told him these kinds of comments sound like something said on Faux News. This diner always has Faux News on their corner TV. Here's wishing both Charles and Camilla all the best. It is too bad that Diana had to get screwed over by Charles.
