2. yeah, right?
Notice how the crappy economies always come when a repug is in the executive branch.

I guess that's what makes them the big business party. :puke:

19. Cmon now this was explained to me by a freeper
Clinton rode an 8 year wave of success generated by Poppy.
Now Junior is riding an 8 year wave of economic poverty generated by Clinton.
You see? It's Big Dog's fault.:sarcasm:

4. Bush is right
:smoke:

You have to admit, Bush is telling the truth as he sees it. The economy is good, if you are one of his contributors, relatives, or the social elite that he hobnobs with. If your not, You don't count. You aren't American if you don't make 1 million or more each year. Oh yeah, or if you are an illegal you count too. Just shut up and do what your told. don't make waves, and you can stay in this country. Just make us richer.

5. economy
It's the trend that I worry about most. Possiblilty of high inflation due to high deficits and our growing dependency on foreign oil. It seems that jobs are scarcer, less secure, and less likely to offer benefits. Of course, global competition does not help. I think the traitor-in-chief has made it pretty clear that there's not much he can do in the way of being a cheerleader for the American economy by changing tax laws to favor hiring and manufacturing in this country. Why just a couple of months ago, Honeywell anounced they will be outsourcing 5000 local manufacturing jobs this year. To China? To Mexico or perhaps India? No. To the Czech Republic, in the European Fucking Union! It looks as though their governments have no problem with trying to attract investment.

10. Now that's stupid
:smoke:

Why on earth would Honeywell outsource jobs to Mexico, when they're all in this country. They can just go to the local day job company and get as many illegals as they need. Look at all that money they can save building new plants in foreign countries.

14. I swear, I think that's actually the plan.
Bush sees it as importing the slaves. That's why he wants to dismantle every social program, including SS. That way they can't be accused of allowing immigrants free social services/welfare. Just get rid of it, then they won't get it. He probably has Corporations promising to bring all their plants back if they can eliminate minimum wage altogether, too.

He stupid enough to think it would work.

6. Of course it is -- how can you even ask?
If not in comparison to the economy under Clinton, the current economy would only look bad, not as horrible as it does.

So Clinton is responsible for our relative deprivation.

7. Here's how it works.
Everything was Jimmy Carter's fault until 1992, when it became Bill Clinton's fault.

It will be Bill Clinton's fault until they have another Dem president to blame.

8. Then I say, "let the blaming of the NEW president begin!"
I just don't see how they're ever going to be able to put all this on Clinton, or 9/11, or the illegal war.

Just wait until the stolen election is exposed. Just wait.

9. I blame 90's Congress
They made NAFTA and sent it to CLinton to be signed. Dems were so happy with it, he signed that piece of shit. That is what is causing all this shit to rain on us.

15. NAFTA was the tip of the iceberg
We're not really outsourcing jobs in mass numbers to Mexico, were outsourcing them to Indina and China.

11. Age of Republican Corporatism...
Bush loves corporate crooks and goes out of his way to help them. For the past 4 years Bush has been deregulating industry, repealing corporate taxes, ignoring business abuses and generally trusting their "better nature" rather than policing their baser impulses.
Why not? They were always nice to him.

24. Want to know whats crazy.. just like in the past a
great Democratic president will be elected to clean up this mess after the American public wakes up that they aren't all going to be millionares and that they need someone on their side... ala 1929, the last time they controlled it all.

Then this new president and a new Congress will fix this mess and you will still get freepers arguing how it was Bush's tax cutting policy etc that made the next boom possible.
