I'll have to listen to the archived. Ritter has been realiable in the past so I'd at least listen to him and head his warning.

9. They are counting on voters ...
... turning out to support the troops.

Besides, most of the Diebold machines have already decided who to vote for.

5. June 2005, target date to have war with Iran...
June 2004 Bush asked military to prepare attack plan for Iran
John Bolton has been the Iran war architect
Bush now wants Bolton to be at the UN to demand santions in June 2005 against Iran
If UN refuses then Bush is prepared to strike Iran

They are talking faster then I can type.....

6. Maybe Dubya has forgotten,
except for what is now committed elsewhere, WE HAVE NO ARMY!

Maybe he will draft a proposal that will impress the young into selecting service. (Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to fit "conscript" in there.)

18. By invading Iran with the troops presently in Iraq, he can say we achieved
VICTORY in Iraq and have withdrawn from there. And he can still drain the US Treasury for Cheney's Corporate Cronies.

Those troops are not coming home until they are old, I fear. Ther are no jobs for them to return to and if they come home, they will talk to people about what is really going on.

27. My biggest problem with that scenario.......
is that it sandwiches our troops between hostile forces to the east and hostile forces to west.

I've been worrying about this since this administration first started talking smack about Iran in July.

I was active duty Army and served under Reagan, Bush I and Clinton. Thank God I had Commanders-in-Chief that kept wise counsel!

30. Yeah, they don't care about supplies or tactical logistics
so long as Haliburton gets those checks on time.

Oh, and they put those ribbon magnets on their cars, so they support the troops. :eyes:

When the troops finally get home, there will be hell to pay.

Glad you got out before the junta took over. Thank you for your service to the nation then, and for your service to it now by raising awareness.

36. As the neocons have learned many lessons from the Nixon years,
such as you better have total control of MSM and never let the evening news show what war and protests are REALLY like, I fear the majority of the troops will not set foot on American soil again.

Also fully expect debtors' prisons to be opening soon with prisoners getting the option of rotting there until their families can buy them out (will never be possible) or earning credits against their debt via service in the military, overseas, of course.

Lot of $$ in private prisons. Lot of $$ in building them. Will be the sacred xian (as opposed to real Christian) duty of America Inc to teach debtors a lesson. Prison labor is cheap. Corporations will get special tax breaks for putting more production in the prisons so inmates can 'learn a skill'. And inmates will need to learn new skills as jobs outside of prison and military will be gone in America Inc.

The junta learned lessons from the Nixon years. They will NEVER admit error nor take responsibility for it. They will silence any portion of the population that would speak truth to their lies. They will not admit there is any 'downside' to war. They will wrap themselves in the flag and hold a cross overhead, making both of those symbols meaningless by their blasphemy. They will not let soldiers come home en masse to tell truths to the lies of propaganda.

8. Worth listening to but I'm dubious of him
I'll never get over the charges against him related to meeting a child at a McDonalds. And I'll never get over him saying in March 03 our troops would be bogged down outside Baghdad. And then there's that record of thinking Saddam was the anti-Christ up to Bush's election.

I'll listen, but I won't hang my hat on it.

If he is right about this...

Does anyone remember the Pentagon Papers? Small change compared to what Scott just leveled. This is one big ass j'accuse.

Too bad, I was really getting to like Scott Ritter.

It also suggests that confirming Condi was monumentally stupid.
It also means that Bolton is going to really polarize the UN. That is to say, them against US.

Iran is the monumental 'cheney yourself' from ** to the world. Ask yourself, how in the world to the pugs expect to win in 2006 and 2008?

22. I predict that BushCo will set off a small nuke in Iraq
and blame it on Iran. This will get the Iraqis on board to use for cannon fodder on the front lines when we move in to Iran from our new Iraq military bases. Israel will provide air support using the equipment and WMD we sold them.

Duck and cover folks.

25. Everyone you know should be advised and they should pass the word.
Any pretenses to war and all the activities of Bolton, Negroponte, Rice and all the other imperialists need to be exposed.

It is Iran's misfortune to be in the geographical path of oil and water pipelines to Israel and the Mediterranean.

28. NBC news says that Iran is selling Palestinians drones to bomb Israel.

OK. I know I should find some kind of link for that. It was on NBC Nightly News last night. Did anyone else see it. I'll try to find a link somewhere.

Anyway, I kept thinking that they are trying to build up the case against going into Iran.

Oh, and if it's already been posted. Sorry.
