Now that the bankruptcy bill has been passed in the house |
|
I have a few questions. First, does that mean that the senate and the house versions now have to be reconciled? And, if not, does it now go to the evil overlord for his signature? Lastly, will it take 180 days from the time of his signature to actually be in effect?
Thanks in advance.

was trying to remember the school house rock episode on this very thing. Alas, the thing that stuck with me as a child has gone away.
So, the constitution has the specifics of congressional procedure? I guess I'll have to look beyond the fancy writing.

3. It goes into effect 6 months after it is signed |
|
Expect a rush of new bankruptcy filings before the new rules go into effect.
