Has anyone else seen the pro-Bush 10-year-old?
He goes on the radio to talk about how he's for Bush's SS privatization plan? I didn't know if this is old news and I've just been living under a rock or if anyone else had heard of him.

Anyway, I saw him on the news last night, and he struck me as just another Terri Schiavo, someone else being used for his political value. The kid didn't really say anything of substance (what do we expect, he's ten) but used lots of big words like "partisanship" and bitching about Bill Clinton, so I was just wondering if maybe there were links to a real interview he gave instead of news soundbytes?

3. They sure are sorry.. They probably picked a ten year old as a 'big
brother' figure for them since their own mental age is from two to three years..

He's been 5 when Clinton left office. This is absolute BS. God I hate republicans... Even if they happen to be 10 YO dittoheads.

4. WHAT does a 10-year old know about social security..
...or BLOWJOBS?

The former, nothing. The latter, we'd better HOPE, nothing.

How utterly stupid. The varmit has been trained and scripted by his Fascist parents. He doesn't know social security from a security blanket. IF he knows what a blowjob is, THAT is a problem that the fundies and their gov't representatives ought to be VERY concerned about.

6. Didn't you hear Rush the other day?
"IF he knows what a blowjob is, THAT is a problem that the fundies and their gov't representatives ought to be VERY concerned about."

According to Rush, in one of his withdrawal-induced on-air meltdowns, it's the Democrats' and Bill Clinton's fault, since blowjobs were invented in the nineties by godless liberals. So if the kid is getting blowjobs, it obviously is Bill Clinton's fault.

But he's so adorable, so obviously W is a great guy. Um, yeah.

Bush should use this tactic at his next press conference:

W: "Sure, Iraq is a mess and my SS plan is never going to pass, but hey everyone, look at this puppy!"

:holds up puppy:

:media begins furiously snapping pictures of said puppy:

W: "Yes, Jeff."

Jeff: "Mr. President, the Democrats keep telling you to talk about issues everytime you hold up a puppy. My question is for you: why do Democrats hate puppies?"

W: "Good question, Jeff. The problem is that I have this puppy who is clearly adorable, and yet the Democrats seem to want to engage in bitter, anti-puppy partisanship. The people long to have their own puppies, but these Democrats want to block us at every turn. They clearly hate us for our puppies."

And so on...

9. could really happen
good satire, and sounds far fetched (arf! arf!), but anyone who remembers Richard Nixon's famous "Checkers" speech knows that these
morons are not beyond using a puppy for political purposes! All to counteract a criticism about inappropriate campaign finance.... the sad part of the story is that it worked!

8. Don't be too sure
His nanny may have been "smoking the white owl" for years. Just look at all the schoolteachers which have been in the news recently seducing their barely pubescent students.

5. Children - paradigm for the subjects of totalitarian rule
Edited on Sat Apr-16-05 07:13 AM by teryang
The political philosopher Hannah Arendt described the appeal of children and circus animals to totalitarian propagandists.

Neo-cons have a similar view of "citizens."

7. Lacking facts, they go for cute.
This kid has memorized huge amounts of presidential data, and made the rounds of talk shows.

He has no real insight, but is a Republican partisan, so Bush has latched on to him. It's the best he can do.
