88 posts, and only one post addressed my idea of fining employers
for employing workers from poorer countries, rather than being distracted by the border. What do you make of that? http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=104&topic_id=3490196&mesg_id=3490196

2. The fine should be enough to put them out of business
If they are not hiring American workers, what good are they?

3. I think small fines, lots of them, every day, for every worker
would have the same effect, if they didn't change their practices.

5. The fines on businesses that hire illegal immigrants should also be...
Directed into an extended unemployment fund for American workers, who are being hurt by these unfair and illegal acts against the American Worker.

4. Posts at DU are almost never responsive. Ask a question
requesting information from "someone knowledgeable" sometime and see what you get back.

6. I think people are really scared about being able to feed their
families, stressed to the max and not thinking very well.

I'm in agreement with you on this issue. And when I read the threads here, it just breaks my heart, really. Because the neoCons seem to be winning. They're pitting us against each other in about 12 different ways.

We need to really settle and THINK, or we play right into their dirty hands.
