The New American Capitalism.
Having failed to earn profits the old fashioned way, American Capitalism has found a treasure chest that promises impressive returns, risk free, year after year, for generations to come. This new capitalism relies on having a compliant administration in Washington that allows the Treasury to be raided by corporations such as Halliburton, Bechtel, Titan,Carlyle, Lockheed-Martin, Boeing and others along with faith based corporations such as Amway, Lberty University,Christian Coalition and others in a looting spree the likes of which will make the robber barons blush.

So why sweat the risks in making a product that may bomb in the marketplace when they can lay the arms on the taxpayer with an approving George Bush looking on?Why worry about American competitiveness when the taxpayer can be fleeced with government contracts and once again by outsourcing jobs to feed junk via Wal-Mart?

Boy, this capitalism is grand,if you are in on the game.Beats Amway any day.

2. it is the cancerous mutation of the new deal
with the new deal power flowed to the federal government and it became the great cow whose teat at which both people and corporations suckled.

the people were feed by this beast, but so too were corporations. and as the latter grew stronger they have shoved aside the people who now suckle on the hind teat.

conservatives do not want to kill the cow, just slice off its hind teat.

what was once built by progressives to provide milk to the many is now used to provide money to the manipulative.
