A little sympathy for Juan Williams...
He is sitting in the middle of the lion's den this morning. He is being loudly challenged by Fred Barnes and Brit Hume on his comments about Tom Delay and John Bolton. He more than held his own. It's a dirty job, I guess, but somebody has to do it. :)

1. I like Williams a lot
He goes into hell everyday and most of the time he comes out without any burns. He is probably the only reason I watch Fox.

Although he and Barnes are basically the same person.

You know what's fun about Kristol and his clique? They make empire legit. All they're doing is speaking their mind. Free speech and all. You can't call them on it because they'll just say you're crazy. We can't live in that world because we're America. Even though we do. They told Suskind that we do.

Most people think of Hitler when you say fascist. That's why Hitler was the best thing that ever happened to anyone looking for power after Hitler. "Cheney a fascist? Stop comparing him to Hitler."

People like Kristol use protests against them to prove their point. "See? This is what we want to bring to the world. The ability to protest without fear of being killed." They don't listen to the protests, because the people don't have any power, but they use them to their advantage.

The only way to defeat this monster movement is to have your own monster movement. But that means investing millions, if not billions, of dollars. When you have two wealthy factions fighting it out for power, is that democracy? Or a constitutional democratic republic?

As power(government and business) needs to use more energy to keep their power, by centralizing and consolidating, I'm not sure if the future is looking too good.
