Hagel says he'll vote for Bolton unless more scandals emerge |
|
Edited on Sun Apr-17-05 11:27 AM by Cheney Killed Bambi
On Late Edition, Hagel said that despite his problems with John Bolton, including the fact that he acted abusively towards a member of Hagel's staff who formerly worked for the State department, he would nevertheless vote for Bolton as UN Ambassador unless more scandals came out.
Hagel was the only Repub to say he was wavering on whether to vote for Bolton. The fact that he'll vote in favor gives Bolton the majority he needs in the Foreign Relations Committee.
Pretty friggin pathetic.
