Repubs are not concerned about how the Democrats feel....
in regards to the "nuclear" option, which they are attempting to change to "constitutional" option. If they have the votes, they will pass it. So far, they haven't gotten enough Repubs on board to guarantee passage. Tha's the only reason it hasn't been passed. Not because they want to work with the Democrats in any "bi-partisan" manner. They could give a damn what the Democrats think. These are the people we are dealing with.

1. They will reap the whirwind when they do this.
Its getting to the point that Republican becomes synonomous with con artists and racketeers. Who will ever want to work with them? They are not going to be the big bug forever. Someday they are going to need help from out side their party .

We are just consumers first. Not citizens...What do you expect when even our votes are not respected. Our vote is supposed to be our voice...

3. My dismal prediction
The pubs will start to "go nuclear", and the Democrats will cave and allow a floor vote without the "nuclear option".

4. there are still some sane people out there
in the GOP camp who realize that they could be in the minority some day. Even Bob Dole has been lobbying against the nuclear option.)which shows that even scumbags can have a dollup of common sense) The problem is that the facist neocon branch of the GOP have myopic vision and only see ten seconds ahead of them. When the nuclear option is detonated, it means that any sane Republican voice has been silenced.

5. Yeah, but
we don't care what they think, either. That's what politics is about, so no use getting your shorts in a wad.

6. even if they have the votes the Dems are walking out
and shutting down legislative work, aren't they? Their agenda will be DEAD.
