I'm declaring John Kerry the President-In-Exile
There are literally mountains of evidence which prove that Kerry should be the President and not Bush. The same could be said about Gore.

So, that is why John Kerry is the President-In-Exile of the Nation that was once America.

DU, will you support me in saying this?

I am also a Clarkie - I voted for Kerry because our party nominated him, I would have preferred Clark.

and I've been very supportive of Dean as party chair. But I must hide my support of another man who's been a great, positive force for our party.

:(

I have not been involved in it at all, but have read about it tangentially...

That being said, I would love to see Clark have another go at it.

4. Sorry, no.
I still don't think that Kerry got more votes.

I've seen allegations and some proof of voting irregularities, but nothing that proves that Kerry got (or would have gotten) more votes.

9. I agree with the last guy
Which is a shame^^^^^^

Even after Bush's first four years, he has proven himself inept at being president. Who in thier right mind would have voted for him. I don't know about JK as a politician, but I knew his heart was in the right place and that counts a lot for me.

Happy to finally have my 24 hours over so I could post.

Edited on Tue Apr-19-05 04:26 PM by MercutioATC
It seems to me that the country is getting more conservative. Perhaps BESAUSE their own futures are so bleak, many people need to believe that they're a part of something larger.

Unfortunately, that seems to be a return to the "moral values" of yesteryear for the majority of voters...

Oh, and welcome! :hi:

12. I agree with unclevanya
This is more than votes.

Should the votes of this nation rest upon the Bush voters? After all, these people are the same people that believe Saddam Hussein had a hand in 9/11.

RW'ers say Aliens shouldn't vote, but they clearly have no problem with Ignorant people voting, because these people will always make the ignorant decision and the one that is worse for the Nation.

33. its like this
They all hate gays so bad they had to come out and vote against gay marriage. So since they had powered up the diesel and locked the trailer all up, dropped the kids off at the Y and vote to bar perfectly normal people from engaging in what should be a RIGHT. What compells these people to hate so much?

35. Fear of change
Security/expectation/continuity. Anything threatening this is chased out (small-town, caveman tribe behaviour).

I don't deny those who need it, the right to have it, but not at the expense of everyone else. Damn, getting into can-of-worms territory here..

15. Hardly! Get a grip - Kerry had all the opportunity
during the campaign to stand up and be strong....The man lost because he appeared weak...IMHO today's performance doesn't give him clearance. President's stand alone. That's why it's lonely at the top, right? Makes me wonder if Kerry only had the guts to speak with conviction today because he had 6 other men and a woman at his back while doing it!!!

Sorry, but he broke my heart last November and our Country is in more trouble because of his apparent inability to dominate the likes of Georgie Porgie.....

Nothing short of a coup would have gotten K in the WH with the way it played out in OH. My Pres. has too much integrity to seize power in that fashion.

28. John Kerry, P.I.E. I love it.
I call him the president all the time. It's why I love my button so much. It reads, John Kerry: President. Which, from the thousands of pages of research I've read, he is.

I love him. I wanted him to be our nation's leader. I worked so hard to ensure that this had a decent chance of happening. The fact that he is not recognized as the president right now really hurts. As in, I wake up and cry about it sometimes before starting my mornings.

Exiled by a fraudulent elected cult, but glowing more than ever knowing their number is coming up.

Gore will forever remain the vice president or majority player.
