I want to know what they offered that bastard. The Dems just calmed down all of a sudden. Sometimes these moderate rat-bastards make me want to hurt somebody.

That SOB. I am trying to call his office now and the line is busy. They are getting an earful when I get through.

The OH repub party called for money earlier today and I said 'not interested'. I wish they would call back so I can b*tch to them about Voinovich

there are many here who share your hobby. :)

I can't say I know much about guns or knives but I come from a family of hunters and collectors and my husband and I have been talking about going to a shooting range for awhile now. The only thing that keeps us is time...life has the annoying tendency of getting in the way sometimes. My philosophy is that even though you don't have weapons or want them, you should still take the time to educate yourself on how to use them.

You could see the shift happen before your eyes! Voinavitch was going to vote no which would have made it a tie vote so Bolton wouldn't have gotten out of the Committee.

As many others have said, Durbin is going to get reamed tonight, if it isn't happening already!

36. The John Bolton nomination........
is just so incredibly illogical, arrogant, brazen and foolish that it should unify the two parties. This vote should not be close. It's so obvious that this guy is a bad dude and ill suited for the post at the UN. This is a no brainer and I'm disappointed that this thing is even close. Perhaps ultimately we'll see a victory here, but the fact that this guy could get confirmed by roughly half the senate says a lot about where this country is right now.

There's a lot of members who still feel obligated to support anything Shrub wants. Those are the ones you see supporting Bolton! As time goes on, I think you're going to see fewer and fewer members supporting Shrub. They will finally realize that the most important thing to them is their own re-election...Shrub isn't running again!

Shrub said HE HAD A MANDATE! The Pubs in Congress believed that and figured they better back the Shrub so they would win like he did!

Far too many people never bother to contact their congressman to either compliment or complain, so they do what ever they want.

50. Dealing with his record
of dealing with people maybe he threatned people? The only reason why Bush nominaited this guy is because he thought he'd be a shoo-in and Bolton is a "yes" man and his job, I think, was to descredit the UN even more since it's known a Texas man was involved in the Oil for food scandal (and probably leads to Bush) so they can get away with anything. They do have more wars planned.
