It looks like the Republicans will be launching the nuclear option today. This will make it impossible for the Senate to filibuster against the dregs of the nominees for the bench from the last session.

The Administration is, with one stroke, about to neuter the Senate and lock up the Courts.

Did you think we had THREE branches of Government?
Well... maybe not so much after today.

Let Harry Reid know we want him to tie the place up in knots to preserve this country.

telling them to shut the government down if they attempted it. I also told him that any Democrat NOT joining together to stop them would be seen as abetting the Republicans and would be dealt with at the ballot box in 2006. I think I was pretty clear in my demands.

I wanted to write you to let you know that I 100% back you going all the way and doing whatever is necessary to block the republican coup attempt that is about to occur. To me, the "nuclear option" is the culmination of all of the evil the right has committed over the last 5 years. Shut down the government... do not let them succeed. This may very well be the beginning of the end of our long national nightmare.

I am writing you to ask that you accept the challenge and stand your ground in regards to shutting down processes in answer to the Republican "Nuclear Option". It is no longer a time to debate. It is no longer a time to try to work with others across the aisle. It is time to take a stand!

This is a major national crisis. The Democrats, as one body, must stand up to the corrupt corporate and special interest demons that are currently running roughshod over Congress. The Republicans are abusing power and are truly anti-American and anti-Christian. They are ripping our Constitution, Bill of Rights and our Declaration of Independence to shreds. This time, they are not stealing money, they are stealing the very fabric that makes America what it is.

We cannot stand for this disgrace! Give the Republicans what they deserve -- A force to be reckoned with!
